February 25th, 26th & 27th

The 2011 version of Lost Dutchman Days continues to be “the fun place to be for all ages.” This 48th Annual Event has 3 days of Professional Rodeo action, a Carnival that features 30+ rides, and carnival attractions. The Parade, viewing always a favorite and attracts thousands of spectators, who in 2010, were entertained with 125 entries. Don’t forget the Rodeo Dance, held outdoors with a large bonfire, it is hailed as the old fashioned barn dance (less the barn). The wild horses and burros can be seen everyday and are available for adoption from the Bureau of Land Management. Thrown into all this action, entertainment for our spectators continues with two stages of FREE quality entertainment which provides continuous music daily for your pleasure and what would any event be without plenty of food and vendor booths to browse and drool over. And we will have plenty with over 100 setting up to keep you busy.

Keeping our goal of “Putting smiles on Kid’s faces.” The LDD Committee partners up with various youth serving organizations, and sponsors to provide this opportunity to entertain the entire family. There is something here for everyone that visits Apache Junction on Lost Dutchman Days weekend. Profits from this Event are donated back to these Youth Organizations and other Youth serving Programs of the Apache Junction Community, insuring the opportunity to reach the ultimate goal of “Putting smiles on Kid’s faces.” On behalf of the many volunteers involved and making up the Lost Dutchman Days Committee, I would like to invite all of you to visit us over this weekend for fun and entertainment. Click on the various tabs that can provide you additional information. We want you to be ready to have fun when you show up. Thank you so much for helping us help Kid’s.
