Hats Off to Our All-Time Top Performing Rodeo Partners

Tough Enough to Wear Pink all started with a crazy idea back at the 2004 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Terry Wheatley, wine industry executive and matriarch of a professional rodeo cowboy family, wanted to enlist the cowboys and cowgirls to raise awareness about the disease. She convinced her son Wade, who was competing in team roping, to convince his fellow competitors to wear pink on one night of the rodeo.

“Cowboys are tough,” she explained, “but like everyone else, they are profoundly affected by breast cancer when it strikes a family member.”

That night in 2004, the arena was awash with pink, rodeo fans embraced the idea, and Tough Enough to Wear Pink was born. Funds are raised at rodeos and western events through the sale of Tough Enough To Wear Pink gear.

The list of Tough Enough To Wear Pink rodeo partners grows with every passing year. To date, they’ve helped us raise more than $24 million!

The rodeos and special events below have been successful partners of the TETWP campaign year after year, leading the way in funds raised and creating  awareness in their communities.  Hats off to you!
