Eryn Greenfield has been an CHP officer since 1990. From the academy she transferred to central Los Angeles for 5 years. She was working during the Rodney King riots. She then transferred to the Monterey area at the end of Nov 1994 and was on road patrol. In 1997 she transferred to Hollister -Gilroy area in 97 worked the road till 2000, then the Gilroy truck scales till Jan . Feb 2001 transferred to the CHP academy as a pt (physical training instructor) arrest and control and civil disturbance -crowd control instructor. Transferred to Office of Capitol Protection section and on the CHP mounted unit protecting the state Capitol and surrounding state buildings and crowd control for events at the Capitol and othere mpu agencies.

Eryn started barrel racing in 1995 thru her friend Lynnie Taylor. She rode a horse named Rose who knew what she was doing and taught her the ropes of barrel racing. She had Rose Bred which gave her, her horse of a lifetime, Fancy. She won a trailer in 2007 at the brn4d finals in the 2d and she had an awesome career. She purchased Lexi last year and in her words “We are still going strong, cancer or not”.
